Finally got around to drawing the results of this poll, Ukatake Howl’s Moving Castle, with Ukai as Howl and Takeda as Sophie!! Thanks so much to @unacaritafeliz for the dialogue in the little comic. I am so in love with this Takeda, who feels like he’s plain, and is initially more at home as an old man. Ukai of course is not as suave and charming as Howl- he’d gruffer and more unfriendly - but he fits the narrative of considering himself a ‘coward’, but putting himself on the line for people he loves. Blonde bisexual rights. Yachi and Hinata are both filling the role of Markl, and have moved into Ukai’s house and become his students by force. They refuse to go home.
For other roles: Suga and Kiyoko are Takeda’s students from back home, who go looking for him when he disappears. Ukai Ikkei is Calcifer (a spirit, who Keishin is keeping around with his magic because he can’t let him go), Nekomata is the Witch of the Waste (has an old rivalry/romance (?) with Ikkei hehe. Kageyama is Turnip Head :)
